So time for another update and a lot has happened in the last year.

We have a new workshop manager, Gareth Lanfear who is running a very tight ship and bringing down our maintenance costs. Gareth is expanding our workshop facility by providing pre-MOT checks, inspection and maintenance services to local companies.

In March this tear we became JAUPT accredited to deliver Driver CPC training courses. We have the facility to offer the training at flexible times including evenings and weekends. Please get in touch to find out when our next course is running.

The really big news of the moment is the delivery of our brand new Wirtgen W120F planing machine. This fantastic piece of kit ups the output from the W100F while still retaining the flexibility and versatility of the smaller machine.

Website updates have taken a back seat for the last two years while we have built and moved into purpose built new premises on Capel Hendre Industrial Estate. Our new depot has a fully equipped workshop allowing our new Workshop Manager, Phil Rogers to ensure that our fleet is in perfect working order. We also have a washbay and gantry so that we can make sure our kit is kept clean. We even use harvested rainwater to reduce the impact of our operations.

In line with our renewal policies we have recently taken delivery of two new sweepers and one new tipper. Last year we purchased our first tracked planer which has proven very popular with our customers.

In other news, Kevan Bennett one of our most experienced drivers has taken the role of Operations Manager to assist our MD Neil Armstrong with managing our operations. Kevan can be contacted on 07971 398510. We are also happy to report that company continues to maintain its ISO 9001:2000 accreditation as well as its Waste Carriers Licence.

With an increasing focus on waste issues, we would like to remind our customers that RNA Plant is a registered waste carrier. You can click here to see our certificate.

It has been a long time since our last update and a lot has happened in the last 18 months. In terms of equipment, we have acquired 2 additional 1metre planers, a new 350mm planer, a midi lowloader trailer from Chieftan Trailers, another Scania tipper, and we have expanded and renewed our sweeper fleet.

In March 2005 we became ISO 9001:2000 acredited. You can view our certificate here.

We have also begun the process of relocation to new premises which we are having designed and built especially for us.

And finally we have implemented a new billing system called Glimpse. This system allows us to collect signatures digitally for all the work we do and to bill our customers quickly and accurately.

As our road planing operations go from strength to strength, we are determined to utilise the best equipment available to ensure that we deliver an efficient, cost effective and reliable service. The arrival of this new tipper is another step forward for RNA and our valued customers.

Following the succesful deployment of our first VT650 this summer, we have taken delivery of a matching pair. The new roadsweepers are mounted on Volvo FLH 15 tonne chassis which are renowned for their ruggedness and reliability. These latest acquisitions reduce the average age of our fleet to 18 months thereby confirming our commitment to use new, high quality equipment.

We have just taken delivery of a brand new roadsweeper. It is the new series Jonhston VT650 on a 15 ton Leyland DAF chassis.
